OUR STORY
Behind Starts with B is Brittany & Linda...we are two best friends who believe we were brought together for a purpose. Our story began as blind roommates starting our first jobs out of college. In just six months, we made the most amazing memories together, forming an unbreakable bond and discovering our shared passion for creativity. Although life took us on different paths, our friendship and dreams remained strong. Five years later, we realized that Starts with B was our calling. Linda is the thoughtful brand & market strategist, and Brittany is the creative & strategic brand designer, and together we aim to create something truly special. It’s so easy to lose sight of the “why” in business, but it’s the most important component of any successful brand. We are so excited to help other entrepreneurs find their why and build a strong foundation for their brand to flourish.
Meet Brittany & Linda
BRITTANY
Growing up, I turned everything I did into something creative, and that hasn't stopped. I have been designing websites and creating brands for 6+ years.

I have a love for design, technology, and people-- what better way to intertwine my passions? I find so much joy in being able to create an entire visual & strategic identity for someone else's passion, and I couldn't be more grateful to be pursuing with with my best friend by my side

Outside of this, I have a wonderful husband and a cute mini golden retriever who is full of energy. My husband and I grew up in South Carolina, and now we live in the cutest town of Old Town Alexandria, VA outside of DC. I love to be outside, especially on a lake or near a beach. My perfect day would consist of a long walk, a good book, and dinner with friends.

LINDA
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved anything creative, whether it was a season of drawing, painting, cricuting, blogging, designing my home, or running a clothing boutique. Taking an idea and making it come to life is my favorite passion, and being able to share it with others is such a sweet gift.
I’ve worked in marketing for the past 5+ years, and over time have discovered my love of brand messaging and the importance of having a solid strategy upon which your brand can grow.

I was born and raised in Kansas City, but always knew my heart belonged in the South. After graduating from Drake University, I moved south and haven’t looked back. After living in Raleigh for a year, where Brittany and I lived together, I now live in Knoxville, Tennessee.

A few random facts about me: I love doing anything active and outside. I am constantly reading more than one book. I will never say no to a margarita, and traveling to and exploring new places is when I’m happiest.
